I'd like the TOC to not only have a wider range of highlighting options, but to give people a way to customize the sort order, to deal with things like the 24-hour threshold.

The thing that I wrassle with on the general subject of enhancement, is whether to try to apply one more hack to the existing house of cards, or put the feature into the once-and-future Zone 3.0. The existing design is already well past its sell-by date, so it's hard to shake the feeling that any effort to improve it is wasted. OTOH, maybe I'm imagining it, but I'm pretty sure that my mention of "Zone 3.0" provoked sounds of retching and ocular rotation around the world.

Hmmm...judging by et's post, I'm probably not imagining it.

So I'm not sure what to tell you, Nick, other than that it's a damn good suggestion. If I could take time off from everything else to spend a solid month doing nothing but work on the Zone, I sure as hell would. But the stars have yet to align and the lottery to pay off.
