I hate corporations. I've been doing some reading on how aspartame got approved. It caused tumors in mice and per FDA regulations, therefore, could not be approved. Well, Reagan came in and Rummy the Dummy and Rumsfeld made his corporate owners proud and got aspartame approved by the FDA as not dangerous. Bullshit. It's linked to MS-like symptoms, cancers of the brain and nervous system and other crap. An article by an MD says it turns into formaldehyde in your system when it mixes with the body's chemicals.

I have some personal experience with it. I was drinking a liter or more of diet coke a day when I had an attack that ended up getting me an MS diagnosis. I quit the crap cold turkey and my symptoms rapidly went away. That was about 15 years ago and I've never had even the mildest recurrence. Six months or so after the diagnosis, the lesions on my brain were fading away as confirmed by an MRI.

Thank you, Monsanto for poisoning us. This is the major reason why I'll never become a Republican. Unfettered corporations will kill all of us, are killing all of us. Your children will pay the price for the greedy corporate misdeeds of this and previous generations. Do we never learn?
