This a "sweetheart" time in Earth's history if you are born in the west after 1945 and before 1980. The people born in this time will experience the best balance of freedom/technocracy yet made available to civilized man. Now the left will slowly throttle the freedom the west has so hard and long fought to obtain and manage to strangle liberty in the name of "good" - just as they did in the middle ages or in the middle east today. The technology and more importantly the quality of the technology will degrade dramatically and folks all over will live in the facsimile or shell of the world we have enjoyed and created with our labor.

Krauthammer is always a fine read. Thanks.
