It's amazing.
Really it is.
The "gang of four" conservatives here can keep several dozen liberals in a state of such anguish and perpetually recurring absences.
We should be on the ropes, battered, bruised and beaten from the superior "compassionate" and wholesome liberal world view.
Such, evidently, is not the case.
McClellan's book after folks read it is turning out to be exactly as I predicted - even down to the absentia revelations.
"What Happened" isn't a very good book, nor even particularly revelatory. Most of what it tells us simply confirms the list of particulars drawn up by Bush's opponents years ago: The administration has been too caught up in the "permanent campaign" to govern effectively, the Iraq war was oversold, the Hurricane Katrina response was a botch and the president isn't the most deliberate decision-maker.

Translation it's a tool for Scott McClellan to cash in while the BDS, in folks such as yourself, is still at full boil. It's savvy marketing and consumerism - the very stuff you lament in your belligerent toned post as a poor oppressed victim of businessmen with "delusions of entrepreneurialism" who like low taxes.
It's "revelatory" to observe the left and their never-ending, self-serving, "delusionsl" escape mechanism of choice: socialism saving the world.
And all this when they can't even recognize real exploitive capitalism and BS when it's shoved under their noses forcibly, but instead embrace it and swallow it up.
Go ahead and run away, but as you do don't blame your running on others with a more realistic world view. Be aware that the running is done by yourself - and from yourself - so as to preserve the escape mechanism that gets battered here repeatedly by the small "gang of four" who, amazingly, never seem to even slightly doubt their convictions about what is best for mankind, regardless of the dozens stacked against them in political and cultural opposition.
