Pretty much any cheap set will work.
Unless you're into surround sound, or something exotic for gaming, just popping over to Fry's or something and grabbing a thirty-buck set of stereo speakers will get the job done. A good set will have an independent power supply, although it's been years since I bought a set and it's possible some will have the ability to tap USB power.
