It will sink in for Democrats in a month or so when they realize they've pulled another Kerry, only worse. Obama's an empty suit, only unlike Kerry, he's got an even longer left-wing pedigree to go with it.

On the other hand, maybe we've finally got enough airheads in this country for him to win. Lord knows our education system's been working hard enough at it. Remember the lecture you gave me on how it's all about the meaningless gas now? Maybe you're right.

We had a post a while back about how Obama was going to drop gasoline prices in half. I knew if I asked something as simple as "how," the response would have been slowly dilating pupils and the smell of ozone filling the vicinity.

I will concede that McCain's ability to shoot himself in the foot has yet to be completely measured, and is probably considerable, but at this point in time I think the election is his to lose.
