I normally don't give names out, but I have to here.
A friend of mine here in Calgary is a professional geologist
in the oil exploration field.
His name is Frank Crawford.
I spoke to Frank about the "so-called" Bakken oil field potential
and HE WAS NOT IMPRESSED.
Frank is a polite man, and he knows his geology.
But, being polite, he expressed the knowledgable view [NOT OPINION]
that the Bakken oil field potential is GREATLY EXAGGERATED.
In other words?...The Bakken oil field is a big case of WISHFUL THINKING!
Yes! Montana and Wyoming have vast oil potential...but it's locked up
in OIL SHALE.
Nuff said.
