Blame Reagan.

Reagan chose Bush Sr. as VP, Bush beat Dukakis, Clinton beat Bush thanks to Perot and then Bush reclaimed the Presidency to make up for the injustice done his father.

So it's ALL Reagan's fault! He's the evil war-monger you really want to kill.

Mantras work for some liberal folks. "Have a Nice Day" was a cool mantra when coupled with a happy face.

"Give a hoot don't pollute" worked for Woodsy Owl.

The mantra about WMD and casualties you use in defense of Saddam and his government needs some work, Don.

It's not accurate. It's certainly not upbeat or catchy and as a result it's not even really effective propaganda.

Here, why don't you try something that rhymes:

"Saddam was swell, Bush is hell!"

Or perhaps:

"The Tyrant Rules! Bush Drools!"

Your mantra, no offense intended, has no style at all. I thought after five years someone should be honest and tell you that it's just not working for you.

Saddam and tyrants everywhere deserve a better effort from you. They put it all on the line. They have flair, military uniforms, large epaulets, wood-chippers and French diplomats at their disposal.

They deserve a better mantra.
