The point, and you might remember there is one to all this, is that other nations with offshore resources--in fact to the best of my knowledge, ALL nations with offshore oil resources--are opening them up to be tapped. Brazil just discovered their new resources, and are already tying up most of the deep-sea drilling rigs.

Thanks to the Democrats, we're doing squat.
