The Vortex Tower...
In 1998, this tower "inspired by the nautilus shell" had a different name, a different architect and a small community to go with it. Unfortunately, the financing for never panned out and after 9/11 towers were not exactly key investment material.
It's nice to see ideas get "recycled" - even keeping to primarily residential usage. However the finish is "supposed" to be golden, not silver and the base should have a proportionately bigger footprint making it a lot more eye appeal. The gold spec tinting was apparently too expensive.
