I spent a lot of time looking at floor plans and those views this morning. I wouldn't mind staying a while in the upper levels--remember, I got a night at the Fairmont Suite in SF for regular room rates, and like Arthur says, it doesn't suck.
But I don't know if I'd want to live there permanently. There's something about being stuck at the top of a tall building that makes me a bit claustrophobic. Not because of terrorism, but more mundane things like fire and earthquake (not an issue in Chicago, but crossed my mind at the top of the Fairmont building.)
If I lived near the top, I might be practicing base jumping off some cliffs in my off time, and keeping the equipment handy near a window just in case.
