If the colonoscopy didn't find anything, then you are probably okay. They told me they can usually tell right off if there is cancer. If they didn’t see anything, you don't have stage 3 or 4 colon cancer. Probably not stage 2 either. Stage 1 and 2 are very curable.
It sound like you are okay. I would have them do a PET scan, then you’ll know for sure.
