Hoist by Their Own Petard Department
A major Democratic strategy of the 2006 election was finding a bunch of "Blue Dogs" to win districts that were normally Republican.
Today I got a furious e-mail from Democrats.com (on the left wing of the Democratic Party) lambasting the "Bush Democrats" in Congress, and demanding they be defeated next time around.
Their "shitlist," among many others, includes 2006 Democratic winners from Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
In fact, of the thirty seats that changed parties to Democratic in 2006, thirteen are on this list.
