If this can indeed be done on an industrial scale, and even if it is not be feasible to convert IC engines to run on this fuel, it could still be used to generate electricity in a dedicated plant and pump it right into the grid. In states like Florida and out west, sunlight could at least be used to run the air conditioners without having to retrofit a new technology onto existing systems.
