My temptation to conspiracy theory lies in gasoline prices, and how since Bush the oil man came in power gasoline becomes very cheap right before elections and very expensive shortly after. And it's hard not to believe the radical rise in prices we have now is not some end-of-the-Bush-years profit gorge by the oil oligopoly.
