Jesus' bloodline and gene pool.
Mother: Glaphyra of Cappadocia (Turkey)
Father: Alexandros (put to death just before Jesus' birth)
Grandmother (father's side): Mariamne I (a "great" beauty)
Grandfather (father's side): Herod the Great
Grandfather (mother's side): Archelaus IV,King of Cappadocia
Grandmother (mother's side): ?????
Since boys tend to take after their mother in the looks department, it's safe to assume Jesus looked predominantly Turkish (Cappadocian). He was probably quite striking.
So as to flee the fate of his father, and all heirs to Herod's throne, Glaphyra fled and gave birth in the women's quarters of the church, where the female victims of the priests gave birth to their "immaculate" conceptions. This is where the legend of the Jesus being born by immaculate conception comes from. She couldn't keep the child because Herod would have him killed as a rightful heir to the throne. She already feared for her own safety as long as she held the heir within her womb. Quickly the baby was shuttled off with some adoptive parents. Jesus was the "unknown" 3rd child of Glaphyra. And with his siblings names were Alexander and Tigranes, it is unlikely that his real birth name was Jesus, but has been lost to history. It is probably safe to assume it was a Roman name.
Jesus' adoptive parents took him, with a decent amount of coin, and a document which properly identified him with the seal and signature of Glaphyra. They raised him and took good care of him for a number of years and then he was sent off to study with the Essenes, as Glaphyra had instructed. It was with the Essenes where he learned his extensive philosophy, metaphysical beliefs, manner and dress code. Jesus knew he was adopted, and that he was royal. He returned upon the completion of his studies as a grown man with a mission to passively tear down the existing pagan beliefs and reform the region. He knew he was the rightful Heir to Herod's throne and perhaps this knowledge spurred his return and his subsequent lack of fear in creating a revolution in the faith of the locals.
His mother died circa AD 10, His father died just before his birth. His grandmother was killed by in AD 29. "Jesus" had no real family left at this point. It's likely even his foster parents were deceased.
He was a stranger in a strange land. And to get back to the point, a good looking stranger of royal birth and bearing.
