Terrorists groups don't ever last that long
As long as they need people, terrorists can be infiltrated or even betrayed by they're own.
Because their acts are criminal, they will be tracked, perhaps lost, but the motivation won't be lost to catch them.
Or until your country just peacefully and quietly converts, which frankly, seems more likely.
