All around the Space Center is a National Wildlife Refuge...so when I witnessed a nesting Bald Eagle, I knew I was in for some serious enjoyment and awe.

Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to horrific weather..tornadoes were EVERYWHERE...the Center hoarded us into the Lunar Landing Room...we got separated from the kids...it was a couple of hours before we were able to get in touch with them...and they closed the center early...:(
