Just the sub-title tells me this book is suspect.
When you can't find evidence, the knee-jerk reaction is that there's a cover-up or a conspiracy. Sorry, that's too pat, too convenient, it's a self-perpetuating meme designed to convert all criticism and skepticism to evidence of a conspiracy, like questioning the divine inspiration of the Bible. In a world where Abu Ghraib became a household word, how could a government UFO conspiracy last 6 decades? How could so many of the world's governments simultaneously conspire? They obviously all know what the other is doing? Why bother.
Respected journalist? Researcher? Classified files? How do we know any of this is true? This stuff all reads like evangelistic propaganda, it only sounds compelling to the convinced.
This issue is becoming like the JFK assasination conspiracy: even if it were true, there is no way to research it any more beccause there are so many opportunistic charlatans out there muddying the waters.
As for "Majestic", that has already been demonstrated to be a fraud...UNLESS, of course, you believe the debunkers are part of the cover-up. AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHH! Where does it stop?
I won't believe a word of it until I read it in the ApJ Letters.
