Your side's been stonewalling it for over 20. That oil should've already been flowing. As Tech said, every new source helps. Drill in ANWR, drill off the coasts, and start developing the infrastruture to process oil shale. This will completely eliminate our need of oil from non-friendly sources.

BTW: If it'll take 10 years to get any oil from ANWR with existing oil based infrastructure (which is bunk), then how long will it take to create a non oil based infrastructure from scratch? 40 or 50 years?
