Any drilling is better than no drilling. Each area that opens up to drilling that is formerly closed eases the burden and expenses of future generations of US citizens and dampens the monopoly OPEC has on siphoning much of the US' wealth.

Throughout the US there is enough untapped oil to make a serious dent in foreign consumption if drilling were permitted to commence. The Alaskan Fields are one of many spots that need to be opened to drilling.

The alternative is to sit on one's hands and let foreigners dictate the state of the US economy as we try to convert industry & transportation into alternative energy sources.

Biden is part of the 35 year old problem that has ruined our economy. His votes have step by step diminished US energy independence.
