Some thoughts

Dish Network offers a bunch of Siruis music channels as part of the deal and I love it. A few months ago I was working from home and had it on constantly. It's wall-to-wall music, 24/7. Two things I liked the most: no ads, and a whole bunch of music I'd never heard before. Whatever you're in the mood for--classical, rock, folk, movie music, 50s/60s/70s/80s, etc--you can find a channel (or more likely, several channels) that offer nothing but.

A fellow I used to work with had a receiver in his car and loved it as well, claimed he'd never go back to "regular" radio. If I recall correctly, I think he said he got signal loss when driving through tunnels or under large structures. Not surprising, I suppose.

As to the long-term stability of the company, I have no insights. Looking on the positive side if they went under, it'd save you the monthy subscription fee :-)
