Bluh: so could we say that time travel is not possible for the simple reason that time offers no destinations to which we can travel? Past and future do not exist in any form whatsoever, beyond our abstract concept of them?

That's a very interesting approach to it!

ER, I enjoyed your post very much as well. Great explanations of some...er, "difficulties"...one might encounter if attempting a timelike journey.
