Get real. Palin is hated because of her views and ideology, not because of her qualifications. You think this hasn't been glaringly obvious? Even on this board?

The same reason the Left hated Reagan or any other consistent conservative.

My own opinion is, all else being equal, I'd rather have a person in office who believes what Palin believes about the role of government than one who believes what Obama believes about the role of government.
