Many Democrats, previously completely in the pocket of Wall St companies*, decided to forgo any future monies and doom the country to a depression just so that Obama could get reelected more easily**.

Am I close?

*notwithstanding Wall St has put way more into Repub coffers in recent years
**notwithstanding the Right will be blaming them for the next 6 weeks non-stop
