I am surrounded by folks who I consider to be your typical
mainstream Americans and they are actually afraid of what might
happen if Obama became President.
They don't come right out and say it, but while they claim their
concerns are due to Obama's lack of experience (and Palin is an
expert on... what, modeling bathing suits?), I can tell it is really
about the Fear of a Black Nation.
Just like when folks were afraid of electing a Catholic President
in 1960, only moreso.
I am thinking that becoming a fatalist is much easier than fighting
a system that grows every day against the individual. I certainly
find myself with fewer choices and power all the time, plus the
growing regiments of people such as those who think the world was
made in 7 actual days just 4,000 years ago become very tiresome
to fight against, or at least try to wake up.
Hey look - a blue pill.
And 2 plus 2 equals 5.

If McCain-Palin win, I won't be terribly surprised
