It's only reasonable to conclude he would have made mistakes in 30 years. He has done a creditable job as Senator from Delaware. Ask the people of Delaware.
Gov. Palin has been on the national scene -- read: in the major leagues -- for all of a month and has already nearly closed the gaffe gap. That takes talent, but not the kind we need in the White House.
McCain, just the other night, cited her PTA experience as preparation for office! Hell, Steve, if that's a real criterion, I'm qualified to be Vice President. I was an officer for 3 years and head of committees for 5 more.
Sarah Palin is a lot like a squirrel. She's clever but not smart, cute from a distance but vicious when cornered, and I wouldn't trust her anywhere near my birdseed.
