That must be a hardwired kneejerk tactic, that broadband whining that Palin has been treated unfairly somehow. I learned long ago that when Republicans accuse Democrats of wrongdoing, the smart money says that Republicans are doing it first, doing it worst, and preemptively attacking Democrats to create a smokescreen for their own vile behavior.
Back it up. Give us an example of an attempt to smear Palin that compares with the daily routine Republican smear campaign directed at Barack Obama. Show us something that comes within a lightyear of "palling around with terrorists".
Got anything to compare with "Hamas, at least, seems to want Obama to win"?
Letting Palin demonstrate that she's a moron by replaying long clips from her interviews isn't a smear. It isn't "gotcha journalism" to ask her what she reads that forms the input to what we'll charitably call her "intellect". Nor is it biased to expect that during a debate she should actually answer the questions asked of her.
