To be honest a lot of us here were getting worried about you, and some of us had considered ending the HZ Psycho-Sociological Study (HZPSS) early so that we could get you medical help. The 13 principal investigators were split on what to do, so we settled on contacting your family and neighbors and asking them to keep an eye on you.

I can think of no smears at all against Sarah Palin or her family or background over the past month.

Oh, TB, you cannot imagine our relief to hear you admit that... perhaps the walls of delusion and denial are starting to crumble... this is a pivotal moment, TB, do not be complacent- take advantage of this brief moment of clarity to seek treatment!

Obviously, my belief that there were some reflects some medical issue on my part, and I'll get it looked at.

YES, TB, do not delay! You have admitted that you realize that there is something not quite right with you- that is an extremely important step- but only a first step.

We have taken the liberty of consulting medical experts in an effort to evaluate the seriousness of your condition, they have offered a wide range of diagnoses but on on some points they agree.

1) Persecution complex- (Not a clinical term, however it is apt here) An irrational belief that a person or persons are intent on doing you harm. In your case you feel that democrats are endevoring to curtail your freedoms and threaten your wealth. In your delusional (no offense meant here TB, just using clinical terms that best fit your condition) world view democrats=liberals=socialists=communists. This has seemingly led you to take irrational stances against ANYTHING that, in your admittedly damaged mind, even remotely resembles socialism in any way- no matter how tenuous. As facts mount against you, those that convey the facts to you must also be viewed as part of the conspiracy- hence your hatred and contempt for the main stream media. This is a form of Paranoia, and it greatly concerned us. (Has your paranoia been accompanied by hearing voices urging you to do destructive things such as; physical violence, vandalism, murder, or voting republican?)

2) Superiority Complex- A subconscious neurotic mechanism of compensation developed by the individual as a result of feelings of inferiority. The feelings of inferiority in this specific complex are often brought on by real or perceived social rejection. In your case this disorder manifests itself by your clear belief that others do not posess the mental faculties to come to their own well reasoned political positions. ANY person presenting a political viewpoint that differs with yours is automatically dismissed as having flawed judgement, or as being a patsy of the evil socialist conspiracy (see item 1 above).

The origin of your suppressed feelings of inferiority have been a subject of great interest to us- we recieved an NSF grant that funded 3 Post doctoral researchers to investigate the possibilities. The dominant theory that it results from childhood bullying, that conclusion is tentative, however, since the interviews with your former grade school peers are not complete, and will hopefully be finished under next years grant.

3)Oedipus complex- some doctors that we have consulted have suggested that your fixation on Ayn Rand is a manifestation of some, errr unresolved issues- given the preliminary and speculative nature of this diagnosis we will not dwell on it... However one of our students did write as a thesis a compelling exploration of this interpretation- analyzing your explicitly stated views and hostility regarding the 'state' as mother vs father....

4) Delusions- no need to belabor this since you have (thank god!) admitted that you recognize some of your thinking as delusional.

5) Anal fixation- caused by too much punishment during toilet training. The [Anal retentive] personality is stingy, with a compulsive seeking of order, blogs, and tidiness. Your obsession for terms such as 'ass-hat', and 'butt-monkey' has led to some researchers to speculate on this possibility.

There is more- much more- but here is not the place to review the reams of data we have collected on this topic- all that is important is that you have come to the realization that you are ill, and need help.
