That the infinite faith in the wisdom and effectiveness of government-run organizations has survived even the past month.

Somehow, in some way, government health care will be the one area that will be untouched by lobbying, contributions, regulatory screwups, political ambitions, and government/corporate backscratching.

Good luck with that. Who's going to bail out the medical industry?
