I can't understand why you just don't hang it up as a good fight which was lost. Many of us have had a few of them, and with no noticeable show of modesty I'll have to admit it takes a bit more courage to accept a harsh reality than it does to deny any problems and then blame everyone else for your mistakes.

Suck it up. You're wrong, all down the line. None of it works, it's too extreme. Can't work. Wonder what "hearts and minds" means, and how a "liberator" differs from an "occupier" in the way they treat the conquered.
