I don't hold Europe as the blameless victim. I am unhappy with socializing the financial system in any way, and said so. However, I also said that action had to be taken lest we all get flushed down the tubes. but you have to admit Paulsons plan was pretty, well, bizarre and the Euro plan was much cleaner and the results so far speak for themselves. I'll be surprised if we see anything but a token 'reverse auction'.
