Face it SDAI, Obama is going to win and the Democrats will gain control of the House and keep the Senate. They’ll have all three branches. They’ll get what they have wished for a long time. The Republicans are out and the country will be at the hands of the Democrat.

For the sake of our country, I hope they know what they are doing. If they succeed, it will be a long time before the Republicans gain power in any branch, but I’m will to accept that for the good of our country. If they fail or make things worse, they will learn the public quickly turns and is very unforgiving. If they fail, it could be a very long time before the Democrats get power again. They’ll have no excuses now. They‘ll have complete control. They have promised the public great accomplishments. I hope they can deliver.

One thing we Republicans need to learn, as we sit on the sidelines, it is easier to bitch about things when you are not in charge. Let’s not do that. It’s not good for the country. Let’s give Obama a chance. I think he is going to make things worse trying to “spread the wealth around”, but who knows; maybe he can make it work. The majority of America seems to think so. Maybe they see something we can’t.

With each passing decade, the hate and vile on either side keeps getting worse. The contempt for the opposition’s party seems to have gotten worse. It’s making us swing farther out to the right and left’s fringes. We need to return to the Middle, where the similarities between both sides for outweighs the differences.

So let’s not attack Obama with hate and vile just because we feel our side has been attacked that way. Let’s end the cycle now. Let’s return to the Middle. The people have spoken. Let’s give Obama a chance. (Congress is another story- we need to run out the lot of them. They had their chance and failed.)
