Al Queda hoping for McCain to win??

The proper public response of both campaigns should be to roundly condemn any efforts by Al Queda to manipulate the US Presidential election, and leave it at that, at least until after Nov. 4.

It's true that Al Queda has bragged that its videos of attacks on US troops in Iraq have served as a hugely successful recruiting tool throughout the Muslim world, and that they would desire that the US occupation continue for that very purpose. Criticism of the ill-advised Iraqi misadventure, and the distraction from the war on terrorism, has of course been a very valid campaign issue, but now that at least some Al Queda supporters have opened their mouths to inject themselves into the US election, the Obama campaign should be very careful and cautious in their response, if any response, to this statement, before the Nov. 4 election.
