According to at least one poster on YouTube, there was previously posted a very similar video of an RC model of this same aircraft type executing a one-wing landing. In the absence of any corroborating news coverage or reportage of any real event, and in view of some excellent analysis of the not-quite-believable post-landing roll-out, I'm inclined to think this is some pretty skillful CGI.
Presumably, if a RC model could do it, so could a live pilot, but which is more likely?
Current state-of-the art CGI presents some real potential for abuse, especially with the dawn of all-digital TV imminent.
Is it real, or is it CGI? Let's hope we don't have to ask ourselves that question about some significant event in the days ahead.
