Until you read anyone from Petraeus on back about guerilla wars you really ought to quit embarrassing yourself.

First, your tactics have failed. Utterly, completely and at enormous cost in every asset the US has.

Second, they will continue to fail. There is a new world out there, one which is competing for the hearts and minds of huge masses of people. How to fight and win these wars is well known.

However, it takes brains, finesse and a regard for human life which is not part of the Conservative military arsenal. And which don't carry the price tag of $1.4 billion that a single B-2 bomber does.

So, some sage advice. You are great at offering advice, maybe you'll take some.

Shut up and read some history. Start with Petraeus. Understand "hearts and minds". Think about how you'd react to your family being killed by some foreign power. Come to understand that Muslims, poor people, and small children are human with feelings, dreams and aspirations.

They aren't sub-human, they are just like you. Only in most cases kinder.
