Well it helps in the qualifications
to know the people but I simply don't remember her dealing with them in anything more than a ceremonial way. I'm pretty sure she wasn't there as a diplomat.
Now I'm going on hunch here more than personal knowledge but I'm pretty certain her time in the Senate has not been involved in foreign affairs to a great extent.
I'm not saying she wouldn't do well. I just think there's a handful of better candidates.
