you would rather sacrifice the country than see the majority rule.

And, frankly, I think that's true. Clearly this country is in trouble, clearly the policies of the last 8 years have been failures on a grand scale, and clearly if the present headlong rush into the canyon continues the US will be a banana republic. And just as clearly you would like to see those policies continued.

What's the issue here? LS stated that which is obvious to traditional, staid logic.

However, I'm sure the judicious application of dark logic can maneuver around that issue to the satisfaction of other practicioners of dark logic.

Each logic is talking to it's own adherents. Each can stand alone. One can accommodate reality.
