Don't confuse party and ideology. Most people do. You want to see something to think about, look at those same exit polls, and look at the party numbers.
There's a reason the Democrats are terrified of anyone who actually is a conservative, knows why, and can tell the American people about it.
Look for them to spend the next election cycle or two going after any Republicans left (not many) that fall into that category.
