According to the "Times of India" newspaper website
representatives for the ISRO have announced that
their space agency is planning to send two Indian
astronauts [chandranauts?] to the Moon before 2015.
This announcement, while low key, was spurred by the
success of India's first Moon probe, Chandrayaan 1.

India has 'yet' to launch a single person into Earth orbit,
but undoubtedly they will attempt that before 2012.
And before 2015 it appears, if all things work out, they will
attempt to send two Indians to circle the Moon and return to Earth.

Astonishing to think....NASA won't send anybody to the Moon before 2019.
And what will China do now that India's ISRO has announced that agency'e
ambitious future space plans?
