I didn't even think about that interpretation until the responses came in. Some months back, James Lileks posted a link to one of those "I Haz A Cheezburger" sites that was the photo gag shown down below.

At the time, Lileks was in danger of losing his job, and the job was his "bucket." It became a running gag in his column, and after I passed a printout of the picture around my family, it was a running gag around here, too. Someone would yell "Nooo! They be stealing my pizza!" if someone took the last slice, or "Nooo! They be stealing my parking space!"

I honestly didn't think of the ramifications of using that phrasing in an Obama-related post. I just flashed on my son getting his texting phone taken away, and what he'd say.

Those who know me know I don't have a history of that sort of thing. Anyway, my apologies for a badly-worded joke.
