As far as Rothkopf, I'm not ignorant on this topic. I read as much about his book (and other books) as I could find on the internet...
Well, isn't that a familiar and archetypical response? You know everything you need to know about a book, not from having read it, but from having read about it.
Then you complain that people lecture you about credibility. Try connecting those two dots, and get back to me. Until you're willing to do your own reading and do more than regurgitate the half-baked dogma of others, you have no credibility whatsoever, by definition.
Fair warning: I've moved on to Pure Goldwater, a collection of his own writings, sort of "Goldwater in his own words". It's a fun read, actually, because I could be reading your rants today. Not one thing has changed...the sky was falling back in 1952 just like it's falling today.
Credibility? Yeah, Chicken Little, let's talk credibility.
