However, there are two rogue nations operating in the Middle East. One of them attacks other nations at will, practices genocide upon the residents of an occupied area, and used the military equipment of the other to do this.
Two of them have nuclear weapons, one of them is in continuous violation of UN resolutions and routinely commits crimes against humanity.
The other has invaded and occupied a relatively harmless nation in order to loot its resources, imprisons and tortures that nations citizens.
And on and on and on.
Neither of those is Iran.
