I've never seen anyone work out a ballistic before they catch a baseball. We just need to get astronauts more practice in space operations.

Anyway, how hard would it be to have a "calculate and return" button on an MMU that would drive you neatly back to the airlock after a retrieval while you looked at the scenery?
