NASA Delays MSL 2 Years & Adds Possibly $400,000,000
This complex boondoggle in the making super rover has been delayed 2 years and possible $400M added to the price tag. Remember all the folks on the MSNBC Space Board touting Mars Sample & Return for 2004? Reality intrudes again.
Rather than doing an extended range Mars rover with scoop that will of course have to land in a flat area, I'd much prefer to see the 2+ gigabucks towards a follow on Titan-Enceladus mission. Which would discover more?
