Woof! Check out the system I just inherited!
2 Intel Xeon 5150 (2.66 GHz) Dual Cores
Tyan Tempest i5000XL Intel 5000X ATX motherboard
4 Samsung DDR2-667 2 GB FB-DIMMs
3 Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB 7,200 RPM hard drives
Mitsumi 7-in-1 Black Memory Reader / Floppy Drive
Sony AW-G170S Dual Layer DVD +/- RW / CD-RW
QuadroFX 1500 PCIe 256MB graphics card
Antec Titan 550 Black EATX Full-Tower w/ 550W power supply
Samsung 226BW Black 22" Widescreen LCD Display
Logitech Internet 350 Black Keyboard
Microsoft Windows XP Professional (64-bit)
I'll probably have to upgrade it to 64-bit Vista, since 64-bit XP doesn't have a lot of support (driver or otherwise) and looks to have a lot less in the future. Can't wait to load my Solidworks and 3DS Max in 64 bit.
This probably puts me into some serious karmic red, so I need to be really good for Christmas!
New hot computer!
