When Will INFLATION Rear it's UGLY HEAD???

Or has it done so but in a subtle yet nasty way...Today show showed how manufacters are cutting downon quantity of goods a ala Peanut Butter by hollowing out the bottom of jar and giving us 2 ounces less, same for cereal and crackers nd chips, smaller boxes yet sameor little price increases.. Anybody notice this trend?
