Stuff like that has been going on for years.
"Fitted sheets" for example. Don't really fit any more.
Most everything you buy that you've been buying for years is coming in smaller packages with less expensive ingredients. Sorta like the "customer service" you've been getting, and watching that decline over the years. Most every company has been cutting back, cutting corners in the name of PROFIT.
The coming feeding frenzy will weed out which companies survive and which don't.
There will be bargain basement prices for the next few months as companies try and reduce inventory and pay their bills. When that is over, and they go under (which many WILL by the way), THEN watch prices rise for precious items.
I expect the perishables and necessities of life will be sky high within 12-18 months. Therefore, stock up on all the other stuff you usually buy on a whim as they probabaly won't be available in the future.
Mind you, the next administration MAY find a way to solve this economic problem, but I only see it getting worse.....much worse. And one of the reasons I am in the mountains with fresh water and fresh vegetable markets is the coming security it affords.
