Anyone who will claim the first black editor of the "Harvard Law Review" is "smooth" rather than "smart" has impeached themselves. Lost all credibility. It's a bit like watching a sunset for half an hour and having the person next to you comment about the wonderful sunrise. You know what they are saying isn't true and have to wonder about what's deranging their minds. One rapidly concludes it's a black-and-white thinking thing. All stupidity resides in the oppostion.

It is impossible for people to reason with that kind of mind.

"Smooth" and "smart" are not synonomous, true, and they are not mutually exclusive. Obama is very clearly a very bright guy. And anyone who would try to minimize that has a powerful agenda altering their reality.

That really is very sad, TB. I mean that.
