Another remake of a classic film bites the dust
I knew it:

The original 1951 version was on AMC last night. Despite the annoying
commercials every 10 minutes or less, TDTESS has not lost its magic.
Clearly Hollywood continues not to have a clue in this area, and worse,
it throws a bunch of feel-good environmental pablum at us courtesy
of the ultrarich Hollywood stars mentality.
When they start giving up their fancy cars and multimillion dollar homes,
then maybe I might start to take them seriously when it comes to any
messages about preserving our rainforests.
